Pure Mid Century Chinoiserie style decorative kitsch figurines featuring a man and a woman dressed in winter white robes heavily accessorized in gold micro-glittered headwear and volumnous wrap style sleve draped shawls. They appear to be a wealthy, handsome and glamorous couple with exquisite hand painted facial details. The male figure stand slightly taller at 17" tall and 5 " wide than his female partner. who is sweet 16" and 6" wide.Alas the male lost his head about 2 years ago but fortunately we rushed him to the workshop and reattached it in time to save him. He is quite back to normal and looking at him from the front he looks like every other very tall Chinese man wearing a white robe and a glittery throw over his arms. He has a wee scar on his neckin the back that is barely discoverable. It's a pain in his neck but considering he can still stand on a shelf with his wife for the next 50 years!
