Description: A vintage 1940s–1950s aluminum cookie
cutter with a red wooden or plastic knob handle. The flat metal
backplate has two small holes designed to let air escape so the raw dough
wouldn't get suctioned or stuck inside the mold while baking. Lightweight pressed aluminum backplate with
a cutting rim, fitted with a painted wood or molded plastic knob.

History: These knob-handled kitchen tools were
incredibly popular during the mid-20th century (predominantly the 1940s and 1950s). Brands like Mirro and Educo mass-produced these
