Louis XV Side Chair. This refined chair is similar to Rococo style with its intimate and curvilinear design. It has slender cabriole legs, asymmetrical floral carvings, and a smaller, more comfortable size compared to earlier styles. It is defined by its sinuous lines, cartouche-shaped backrest, serpentine seat rails, and carved "escargot" or scroll feet. The sumptuous tan ostrich leather has a nail head trim around all wood to connect and also protect the textile from distress from use.
