19th Century Victorian Mahogany Settee. This compact settee is built from mahogany wood with a sculptural back framed by curved splats and a shaped crest rail. Each end of the crest is detailed with carved figural heads, rolled arms, and flowing supports that echo the period styling. The seat is upholstered in a red textured fabric with a tailored edge, and the frame is supported by cabriole legs that are a defining factor for its age. It is in good condition with visible and minimal wear on frame and fabric from usage.
