Running Buffalo Vase by R. Morales. The patinated bronze vessel is a hefty piece that will take your breath away with its incredible detail work and hand made artistry. There are four buffalos encircling the upper bowl shape. Above and below the below is oxidized bronze in a green tone with golden bronze zig zags between and a bronze rim around the mouth. The bowl is signed with its date of creation and numbered 235 of 1200. There is also "Icarus" which refers to a series of limited edition bronze sculptures created around 1993 and is a cast bronze piece cold-painted and gilded, with intricate details, signed by the artist, and often produced in Spain. It is in good condition with minimal wear for its usage.
