Demi-Lune Commode from Burton Ching. The commode is made with an extensive mid of mahogany, cherry wood inlays, and walnut burl veneer. This well made cabinet is in the George III style with brass handle pulls, dovetail joints, dentil crown molding, and a quite well made radial dial on the surface of the commode. The top has three drawer fronts with only the center drawer to open. It has three rounded cabinet doors with modular shelving inside. The commode was designed to capture the elegance and functionality of the late 18th-century English Georgian period and has a brand plate inside to claim its validity. It is in good condition for its usage.
