French Empire Accent Chair. The antique chair is made from ornately carved mahogany and is what the French call a Fauteuil. The refined and elegant accent chair offers front legs that end with lions paws, ormolu mounts, dolphin form arms and an inlaid flower at the very top center frame. The fabric is very becoming in itself; a tapestry of foliage in gold with autumnal silk stitching. The chair is in good condition for its antique age with minimal signs of visible wear.
