Rocking Chair, Style 182, by Frank Reenskaug for Bramin Mobler. Designed in Denmark in the 1960's the chair is made of solid Burmese teak wood, the instantly recognizable rocking chair has a dark green, emerald like, felted upholstery that is wrapped around medium density foam for comfort. The chair is an iconic design with groundbreaking concept. It is a high-quality, flat-pack rocking chair that could be easily assembled at home and was offered at an affordable price. It is the designers most significant commercial design, has a brand sticker on wood and it is in good condition for its vintage age + use. Made in Denmark. Additional Measurements: Arm Height - 24 inches Seat Height - 17 inches About the Designer: Reenskaug began his studies in furniture in 1952 at the SHKS school in Norway. That same year, he introduced a folding chair that would, just two years later, be featured at the Triennalen Pavilion in Milan. In 1956, his Cross Chair became the first of his creations to enter mass production through he Danish furniture company N.A. Jorgensen, which would later be known as Bramin.
