Description: 19th Century French Empire Round Marble Top End Table reflects the refined elegance of the style, considered by many to be the most formal of all of the major French styles!  Hand-crafted from exotic imported mahogany then topped with luxurious black marble, it has been fitted with finely cast bronze rings and caps with jewelry-like detailing for a special touch.  The tripod base is especially endearing to those with somewhat uneven floors, although it functions fine with perfectly flat floors as well.  Look closely at the marble to see the fossils of sea creatures from which the marble is comprised!
