The manual wind-up mechanism is fully functional and plays the song "I Love You Truly". The water is clear with no discoloration; shaking it releases a flurry of iridescent glitter. There is a single small air bubble at the top of the globe. This is common in vintage snow globes due to natural evaporation and temperature changes over time.
