When installing hinge holes, the maximum distance from the edge of the benchtop is 35 mm. Starting from the first row of holes, positions may be set at 32 mm, 48 mm, or 64 mm. When using Metabo hinges, the maximum distance from the edge of the benchtop is 30 mm.

To ensure optimum precision, the hinge system will be equipped with pin slots, locating pins and guide bolts, though additional guide components may be purchased separately.
