• You'll be walking on warmth sooner and with less expense by using pre-fabricated SAM mats, as their self-adhesive, wide-spaced backing makes them easy and quick to install. The mats can even be re-shaped to fit a floor area that is different from its original shape by cutting the mat's mesh and flipping it.
• Cover the complete mat with a uniform "scratch coat" of mortar that just covers the heating cables. The scratch coat should be level and extend over the entire floor area, including areas not being warmed.
• Multiple SAM mats may be connected to increase the heated area's square footage.
