Authentic east African wood carved tribal headrest. These headrests were used to support the neck as a pillow and to protect hairstyles when laying down. Each is unique to its owner and used as a status symbol. Some were also used as stools during the day and were carried while traveling. Beautiful signs of age and use. Great collector's piece.
