Rare large scale antique Dogon wood door lock ancestor figure mounted on an iron display stand. The back of this figure has a notch that had a sliding lock used on a door as an extra functional art piece. The doors of the Dogon tribes of Mali use these locks and doors to protect a window like opening into each family‘s grain storage building.
