Also known as a Kenyah 'ba, the baby carrier is decorated with intricate colorful hand beaded motifs and other materials meant to protect the baby from harm and deflect any evil spirits. The frame is constructed with finely woven rattan covered in fabric and a sturdy wooden crescent shaped seat.
