Authentic vintage carved wood Goli mask from the people of Baule, Ivory Coast area. Original patina of black, white, and red paint and signs of age and use. These zoomorphic masks represent "bush spirits" which represent something that does not have an earthly counterpart. They were originally used during Goli dances for varying occasions.
