Rare antique Zande headrest from the Sudan-Congo border circa early 1900s. This piece features a unique stylized female figure carved from a single piece of indigenous wood. The figure has large feet and a staff to symbolize stability. Beautiful original patina and signs of age and use. Wonderful for collection and display.
