$15.00
Add an exquisite piece of mid-century Asian export art to your collection with this beautiful Chinese porcelain shallow bowl. Manufactured in Jingdezhen, China, during the 1960s to 1970s, this piece features a prominent underglaze blue "CHINA" mark on the base.
The dish showcases the famous "Linglong" translucent rice-grain technique, where small rice-shaped cutouts are pierced into the raw clay and filled with clear glaze before firing, creating windows that glow when held to the light. The interior is hand-decorated with a classic imperial five-clawed blue dragon chasing the flaming pearl, surrounded by a border of vibrant orange-red flowers, a geometric blue trellis band, and a hand-applied gold gilt rim. Measuring just under 4 inches across, this shallow, dish-shaped dipping bowl is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
