Rare antique Fenton Art Glass swung vase in the highly collectible Boggy Bayou pattern, also known as Reverse Drapery. This authentic Edwardian era piece features a gorgeous French white opalescent swirl body that flows down into a detailed clear diamond-point textured foot base. The top rim opens into a dramatic six-point ruffled fluted edge. Made in the USA by the maker Fenton circa 1907 to 1910.
An exceptional and elegant statement piece for a collector of early American art glass, Victorian or Edwardian decor, or a vintage mantel display.
Condition: Excellent antique condition. Beautiful opalescent clarity with no chips, cracks, or flea bites on the ruffled points or the diamond base. Please see all photos for exact condition details. Hand wash only.
2 pictures show it under different colors of intense black light. Not as bright as Uranium. Probably Manganese content.
