Add historic elegance to your farmhouse decor with this antique 19th-century ironstone pitcher. Styled in the classic Victorian Aesthetic Movement taste, it features an all-over heavy glaze crazing on a creamy white background. The body is decorated with beautiful raised-relief white daisies tipped with deep purple accents, flanked by dark green leaves and hand-brushed gold gilt highlights.

The top collar and angular handle display a beautiful textured basketweave pattern. It makes a stunning statement piece for a collector shelf, kitchen vignette, or used as a rustic flower vase. Note: There is a small cosmetic chip on the bottom base edge as pictured. It is completely hidden when the jug is sitting flat and it does not leak.

Maker: Unmarked (Classic English or American Ironstone)

Estimated Era: Late 1800s - Early 1900s

Condition: Antique condition with intentional all-over heavy glaze crazing, fading to gold trim, and one cosmetic chip on the bottom base rim. Holds water perfectly!
