Up for sale is a beautiful piece of mid-century Scandinavian art glass: an authentic vintage molded glass block vase designed by the renowned artist Helena Tynell for Riihimäen Lasi (Finland). This striking vase is rendered in a gorgeous, translucent olive / moss green color.
The design features a heavy square profile tapering down to a dense base, decorated with dramatic arching vertical ribbed panels on the sides, an organic stippled texture on the front faces, a distinct multi-scalloped rim, and a stunning molded starburst/sunburst motif on the underside.
