Here is a gorgeous, authentic antique American art pottery centerpiece bowl produced by Roseville Pottery in their famous "Donatello" pattern, originally introduced in 1916. This highly sought-after early period line features an elegant Neoclassical design showcasing beautifully molded, cream-colored cherubs and putti relaxing under trees against a warm, deep tan/brown textured band.
Excellent antique condition! The mold details remain incredibly crisp and the multi-tone glaze is highly vibrant. Free of any major structural issues, visible cracks on the exterior display ring, or large chips. Like almost all genuine 100-year-old Roseville pottery, it exhibits typical fine under-glaze crazing and minor factory glaze pops/pottery variations standard for this era. Unmarked on the base as is correct for a significant portion of this early production run.
