Offered is a beautiful and rare Reed & Barton salad serving fork in the iconic Les Six Fleurs pattern (introduced 1901), celebrated for its elaborate repoussé and chased "six flowers" bouquet motif cascading down the handle in high-relief Art Nouveau splendor.
This large 9.75" pierced version stands out with its ornate openwork bowl featuring intricate cut-outs—abstract floral shapes, wing-like forms, and a central cross/floral element—for added drama, elegance, and functionality.
The handle showcases the signature blooming flowers, scrolls & foliage
Marked STERLING on the reverse.
Condition: Solid excellent vintage/estate condition overall. Light tarnish and patina consistent with age (some brown oxidation spots in bowl crevices and on tine tips—see close-ups), minor surface scratches/wear from normal use, but no dents, bends, breaks, repairs, or polishing wear. The pierced details remain crisp and intact. Easily polishable to a brilliant shine if desired, but the current patina enhances its antique character.
This pierced salad serving fork is scarcer than standard versions in this premium pattern—perfect for completing a Les Six Fleurs set, as a standout serving piece, or for Art Nouveau sterling collectors.
Shipping: Securely packaged with bubble wrap, box, and insurance. USPS Priority Mail (tracked/insured) ~$15–$25 domestic.
No returns on vintage silver unless materially misrepresented. Questions welcomed & more photos available!
