Crafted with a dramatic serpentine front and deeply bowed "bombé" sides, this French Provincial style bombé chest of drawers captures the elegance of Louis XV design.

This commode features three spacious drawers, each adorned with intricate floral and foliate carvings and framed by molded panels. The centerpiece of the bottom apron is a deeply carved oversized scallop shell motif, a hallmark of the Rococo style. It stands on short cabriole legs ending in carved feet. The rich walnut finish highlights the movement of the wood grain, while the ornate brass-toned bail pulls provide a classic contrast.
