An exceptional early 20th-century five-tier "sectional" barrister bookcase by Gunn Furniture Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Featuring original wavy glass in all five doors and crafted from solid oak with a warm, amber finish, the unit features the iconic "S-curve" waterfall crown and a matching flared plinth base. Each of the five sections operates with a lift-and-slide mechanism, offering a dust-free display for books, art, or collections.

The modular design consists of seven distinct parts (top, five glazed boxes, and base), allowing for easy transportation and a customizable setup.

Condition Notes

Good antique condition. This unit has been remarkably well-preserved and retains its original manufacturer's label on the reverse of the top section and also a manufacturers stamp inside the upper shelf. The wood finish is consistent and vibrant, showing minor, age-appropriate wear. All glass is intact and original.
