Antique cast brass jewelry casket featuring a high-relief reclining cherub (putto) surrounded by flowing Art Nouveau florals. The lid is richly sculpted, with a dimensional figural scene that continues into an ornate body with additional cherub faces and scrolling botanical motifs. Raised on four cabriole-style feet.

Marked JB 289 to underside, consistent with Jennings Bros.–style production (Bridgeport, Connecticut), known for decorative cast metal dresser wares in the late 19th to early 20th century.
