Signed vintage sterling silver wearable art brooch / stick pin by John Storey for LHTC (Lonely Hungry Trading Co.), dated 1987–88. Whimsical postmodern figural design depicting a hairstylist with flowing wire "hair" and dimensional hair dryer motif.

Hand-fabricated studio jewelry piece with sculptural sterling wirework, etched silver body, and kinetic movement throughout the composition. The exaggerated windswept hair gives the pin remarkable motion and presence when worn.

Marked "LHTC" and dated "87-88" to reverse. A wonderful example of late 1980s American studio jewelry / wearable sculpture with strong Memphis-era and art jewelry sensibilities.

Measures approximately 3" tall. Weight: 9.6g.

Excellent vintage condition with age-appropriate patina and light surface wear consistent with handcrafted sterling studio jewelry. One wire tip shows darker oxidation/discoloration visible under close inspection - it is subtle as shown.
