Vintage Fujimori Collection "Carnival" ceramic creamer and lidded sugar bowl set by Kato Kogei, Japan. Sculptural postmodern forms with bold Memphis-inspired geometric graphics in black, red, yellow, mint green, blue, and gray on a white ground.

An exceptional late 1980s/early 1990s decorative tabletop set with highly architectural silhouettes, rounded feet, asymmetrical forms, and playful handles characteristic of Japanese postmodern export design of the era. The sugar bowl features a matching domed lid with spherical finial and the creamer has a sculptural, rounded handle.
