Vintage Yolanda Lorente hand painted silk dress in an electric cobalt/royal blue with oversized Dalmatian artwork front and back. Exceptional wearable art piece with asymmetrical drape details and matching silk scarf.

Features a relaxed fluid silhouette with asymmetrical hem and sleeves, back keyhole button closure, and large-scale hand painted dog motif wrapping around the garment. The included matching scarf can be worn multiple ways and adds dramatic editorial styling potential.

The saturated cobalt silk paired with the bold black-and-white painted imagery gives the piece a striking pop art/artwear feel. The back of the Dalmatian is on the front and the design nearly meets all the way around, with the front of the dog painted on the back.

Yolanda Lorente was Betty White's award show designer of choice and was available at high end stores like Saks Fifth Avenue. However even amongst the hand-painted work she was known for, a figural design like this is rarely seen.
